XMM-Newton Educator Resource Area

In 2003, The NASA E/PO Group at Sonoma State University took the lead for the US portion of the XMM-Newton Education and Public Outeach program. This program includes the development of:

• Curriculum materials for grades 6-12
• NASA Educator Ambassador Program - A top-notch educator who can teach you about XMM-Newton science; find out about Educator Ambassadors or workshops near you: Meet the XMM-Newton EA
• A CLEA laboratory exercise on X-ray spectroscopy of a supernova remnant
• A Stellarium planetarium show showcasing the X-ray sky
• The Global Telescope Network - Use real astronomical data in your classroom!
